If this indeed happens, I give it 3 months before we have another election and the Liberal/socialist/separatist coalition gets hammered by angry voters who had their voices ignored by self-interested, greedy Opposition parties.
Democracy in Canada will reach its lowest point in history if our next Prime Minister comes from this ramshackle group of parties with their conflicting platforms and selfish leaders.
I didn't vote for this, did you? Did anyone? Didn't think so.

Why did Harper not accommodate one of the other parties to maintain the confidence of the house?
Just a thought.
I am just as upset as you are but Harper's undoing might have something to do with his egotistic attitude. Great leaders promote flexibility, vision, and welcome change. Harper does not strike me as someone who possesses those characteristics.
P.S. I hate the coalition

I hate the idea of a coalition...but Harper did have something to do with it. If he would have made accommodations to gain the support of another party, maybe he would not have lost the confidence of the house.
Great leaders promote change, flexibility, and creativity. It seems as though Stephen Harper does not possess those characteristics.
